2003

Matthew Cox undertook his first enfranchisement. Where a group of tenants (leaseholders), collectively purchased the freehold interest from the landlord. A year later, he took over the management of his first block. This was all prior to graduating from University in 2009.

2010

Matthew established Charles Cox Ltd and purchased their first buy-to-let property

2016

The company took on their first employees, and a year later purchased their second buy-to-let.

2018

Opened the companies first office and in 2019, the company had over 4 staff, and appointed the first Associate Director.

2020

Set up Charles Cox Capital Ltd for buy-to-let properties and purchased first auction property

2021

Purchased 4 more buy-to-let properties including the first development property.

2022

Launched Charles Cox Lettings, Assets and Surveying. Purchased Cable Rock Block Management based in Eastbourne and their staff.

2023

Aquired Stoneham Block Management, joined Laura King – LK Virtual Assistants as a 50% shareholder. Staff increased to over 20 employees. Opened two other offices including the new Willingdon branch. The company is now managing multiple block sites of around 100 units, and over 250 lettings between Brighton and Eastbourne.
