Property Manager 

Our Block Management team is responsible for managing properties, communal buildings, and communal areas. We take pride in providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their properties are well-maintained and managed. If you have experience in property management, or are looking to develop your skills in this area, we would love to hear from you.

We can also support you through IRPM qualification to help you improve your professional development, knowledge, and understanding of the key requirements of property management and the issues facing the sector today.

Accounts Administrator 

Our accounts team is responsible for managing the finances of all our properties. They handle a wide variety of financial activities from chasing arrears and outstanding payments, and corresponding with clients to managing property finances, reviewing financial information, data entry for new blocks, invoice management and reconciling bank transactions. If you have experience in block management, lettings or accounts, or are looking to develop your skills in this area, we would love to hear from you. 

As an account administrator at Charles Cox, you will be given the opportunity to complete various AAT qualifications which will support you through.  There will also be opportunities to progress to assistant manager and department manager.

Join our Lettings Team

Property Development

Are you a creative problem solver with a passion for property? A career in property development may be the right fit for you! At Charles Cox, we are involved in a range of property development projects, from small-scale renovations to large-scale new-build developments. As a property developer at Charles Cox, you will be responsible for managing projects coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. We are looking for individuals with excellent project management skills, who can think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.

Apprenticeship 

We believe in investing in the future of our industry, which is why we offer apprenticeships in a variety of roles. As an apprentice with Charles Cox, you will receive on-the-job training and support to help you develop your skills and progress in your career. We offer apprenticeships in a range of areas, including property management, administration, and marketing. 

Work Experience 

AT Charles Cox we offer work experience placements for students interested in learning what it’s like to work in an office environment and keen to learn about the property industry. During your placement, you will get to experience various roles that we have here at Charles Cox including marketing, property development, accounts and admin. What does a block manager do? 

As a block manager, there are a variety of tasks you will complete in a day to day. Some key duties include leasing with freeholders, leaseholders, contractors, and landlords, ensuring all Health and Safety legislation, policies, fire risk assessments and health and safety reports are actioned and maintained, carrying out inspections and attending meetings with property directors. Block managers also have financial responsibilities such as preparing and managing budgets for each block, preparing reports and monitoring expenditures against the budget.
